Employment & Labor Law Compliance

We offer auditing services to ensure your business is in compliance with State and Federal statutes and regulations. We also assist in the development of wage, benefit, safety and healthy and nondiscrimination policies - all in compliance with State and Federal Labor Laws.

I-9 Documentation


​Confirming an employee's identity and authorization to work is one of the most important concerns for business owners; that is why we assist with I-9 documentation. We audit current employee documents as well as maintain I-9 compliance. We also provide resources and educational training.

Employee Handbook Revision & Modification

We will review your company's employee handbook in order to recommend improvements and modifications, ensure its compliance with state and federal laws and to advise on additional provisions to minimize costs. Annual revisions and maintenance of  your manual may also be recommended.

Harassment & Hostile Work Environment Seminars

Our seminars not only educate your employees on preventing harassment in the workplace, they ensure your business's compliance with labor laws as well as minimize its liability. Attendees receive a certificate of completion after learning how to identify and prevent sexual harassment and/or a hostile work environment. We can also assist in harassment investigations.

Hiring & Firing Seminars

Our seminars promote consistency in your company's hiring and firing procedures. We educate management in what to say and the questions to ask during the interviewing process. We also review documentation procedures related to disciplinary action. We provide direction for the two types of termination (performance vs. misconduct) and inform you on how to minimize exposure to litigation.

Benefit Administration

We will assess your current benefit structure and offer recommendations in medical, supplemental, life and  other benefit plans. We support existing businesses with renewals as well as assist new businesses in complete benefit plan development. This service is provided through a third party administrator.

Recruitment

Finding the right fit for the job is challenging, that is why we take an investigative approach to identifying potential qualified candidates for your company's open positions. We review resumes to identify tenure, experience, gaps between jobs and reasons for separation. We also screen candidates prior to the initial interview with your company.

EEOC Claims Assistance

If your company has an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claim against it, we will assist in reviewing the charge, recommend and attend remediation, as well as assist in preparation of response and arguments. We will also determine if counsel needs to be retained and make recommendations for legal support based on the claim.

Performance Improvement

We take a proactive approach to identifying, analyzing and addressing performance issues. From the performance improvement discussion, to the completion of the performance improvement plan, we guide both you and your employees through this process with dignity and respect. If for any reason the employee's performance is not improved, we also assist with the necessary corrective actions.

24 Hour HR Support Hotline

Contact us 24 hours a day, seven days a week for unlimited consulting or assistance. We will serve as witness in disciplinary actions or other personnel matters. No additional fees or hidden costs.

Unemployment Tax Management

We equip you with the knowledge you need regarding the termination process to minimize or completely avoid unemployment charges. We also assist in responding to unemployment claims, provide representation in unemployment hearings and audit workforce charges to identify overcharge and request reimbursement.

Worker's Compensation Guidance

We offer support to include identifying work related injuries, the reporting process, monitoring injury progress, and back to work programs. We also provide recommendations and suggestions to avoid higher insurance rates.
